HELP & SUPPORT
What do you need help with?
Trouble signing up, accessing your workspace or finding an item? Start with the answers below.
Registration & sign-in
I haven't received my signup email. What should I do?
Check your spam or junk folder and confirm that you entered the correct email address. If the message still has not arrived, request a new signup email and use the newest link you receive.
My signup link doesn't work. How can I finish registering?
Signup links can expire or become invalid after they are used. Request a new link, then open the latest message in the same browser where you want to finish registering.
I requested a signup link. Is my account ready?
Requesting the link starts the process, but your account is ready only after you open the email and complete the remaining steps. Use the most recent signup message.
I forgot my password. How do I get back in?
Use the password-reset option on the sign-in screen and follow the newest link sent to your email. Check your spam folder if the message does not appear.
Why can't I sign in with my email and password?
Confirm that you are using the same email address you registered or were invited with. If registration is complete and the password is still rejected, reset it and try again.
If I lose or replace my phone, can I still access my inventory?
Your saved inventory is stored in your Boxymi account, not just on your phone. Install Boxymi on another device or open the web app, sign in with the same account and select the same workspace. If you cannot sign in, use password recovery or contact support.
Workspace & team access
I signed in, but I can't see my team's workspace. What should I check?
Make sure you signed in with the email address that received the workspace invitation. If the workspace is still missing, ask its owner to confirm that your membership is active.
I received an invitation. Do I need to create another account?
Usually not. Open the invitation using the email address it was sent to, then sign in with that account. Create an account only if the invitation flow asks you to.
Why am I seeing different items from my teammates?
Check that you are in the same workspace and location, and clear any active filters. Your role or location access may also limit which items you can see.
Why can't I edit an item or use an action my teammate can?
Available actions depend on your workspace role and permissions. Ask a workspace owner or administrator to review the access assigned to you.
A workspace I used before has disappeared. What should I do?
Confirm that you signed in with the same email address and ask the workspace owner whether it was renamed or your access changed. Contact support if your membership should still be active.
Can someone scan my QR label and see my inventory without permission?
Scanning a label does not grant access to your workspace. Access to its item records depends on the signed-in account and its workspace permissions. Review team membership and permissions with your workspace owner if you are unsure who has access.
Items & scanning
I can't find an item I added. What should I check?
Confirm the current workspace and location, then clear search filters and try the item’s name, code or category. Also check whether your role can access its location.
I scanned a code, but no item appeared. Why?
The code may not yet be connected to an item in the current workspace. Search for the item manually, then check or add its barcode or QR-code association.
Why does scanning a code show more than one item?
The same code may be connected to more than one record. Review the matching items and remove the duplicate code association from the incorrect record.
Why won't the camera open when I try to scan?
Allow camera access for the Boxymi app or browser in your device settings, then reopen the scanner. Also make sure no other app is currently using the camera.
My handheld scanner isn't finding the item. What should I check?
Place the cursor in the code or search field, then scan again. Confirm that the scanner supports the code type and that its output matches the code saved on the item.
How do I re-enable photo access on Android or iPhone?
Open your device settings and find Boxymi. On Android, review its app permissions for photos and videos; on iPhone, review its Photos access. Allow access to the photos you want to upload, then reopen Boxymi. Setting names vary by device and software version. Camera permission is separate and may also be needed for taking photos or scanning.
Plans & purchases
I bought Boxymi QR labels, but I still can't access the Free plan. What should I do?
Make sure the label purchase and your Boxymi workspace use the same email address, then sign out and back in. If access is still missing, contact support with the order reference.
I upgraded, but a feature is still unavailable. What should I check?
Confirm that you upgraded the workspace you are currently viewing, then refresh the app or sign in again. Your workspace role can also affect which actions are available.
Boxymi says I've reached a limit. What should I do?
Review the limits included with your current plan and the workspace usage shown in Boxymi. You may need to reduce usage or choose a plan with a higher allowance.
Why can't I manage the subscription?
Subscription settings may be limited to the workspace owner or the account used for the purchase. Ask the owner to make the change or contact support if ownership needs to be corrected.
I have a question about a charge or label order. What should I send to support?
Include the account email, workspace name, purchase date and invoice or order reference. Never send your password or full payment-card details.
Where can I buy Boxymi QR labels?
Use Buy QR labels in the navigation or open the QR-label product page to choose your pack.
Are Boxymi QR labels suitable for humid areas?
Boxymi labels are laminated and suitable for outdoor use. Attach them to a clean, flat surface and check the product information for details before choosing labels for your storage conditions.
